Log Rollers Print, Woodblock. Limited Edition.

Log Rollers Print Woodblock. Edition of 70. 32.5cmx41cm. Hand signed. This print is one of three in this series all which are sized the same. Please refer to the other works “Yellow Trees” and “Castles“. Please note if you are in the Hawks Bay Area, the work is also available for viewing at PaperWorks

The Process of Log Rollers Print:

I created the image and transferred it onto wooden blocks. Each block was then carved based on the color to be used. Using a barron, the paper is pressed onto each block to create the final print. Archival Japanese rice paper was used, which complements the image and the process. Each limited edition woodblock print has its own distinct quality. The artwork is not framed, but I can provide advice on the best framing options if needed. Below you can see scale examples of the work in Situ with a frame that works.
